President Ümit Kocabıçak Attends the Uşak University Conference on “Quality Assurance Systems and Accreditation in Higher Education”

Prof. Ümit Kocabıçak, President of the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC), participated as a speaker in the conference on “Quality Assurance Systems and Accreditation in Higher Education” held at Uşak University. Prof. Ekrem Savaş, Rector of the university, the university’s governing body, and academic and administrative staff attended the conference held at Uşak University Mustafa Kemal Pasha Amphitheatre on 13 February 2025.

At the conference, Rector Savaş gave the opening speech and President Kocabıçak made a presentation on “Quality Assurance Systems and Accreditation in Higher Education.” In his speech, President Kocabıçak talked about the current situation and future plans in Türkiye and the world in the quality assurance systems in higher education. Explaining the activities of YÖKAK, Prof. Kocabıçak emphasised the importance of quality assurance processes for universities and noted that the Institutional Accreditation Program conducted by THEQC provides many advantages to graduates in Türkiye and abroad.
