Association for Quality Assurance Agencies of Islamic World (IQA) is an umbrella organization embodying 25 full and 66 affiliate members in order to adopt a common quality tongue in higher education and to engage with the countries in Islamic world. Also, IQA aims at promoting and developing quality of higher education in Islamic world countries. For this purpose, it plans to carry out the following target:

• To increase the capacity of quality assurance agencies in higher education in Islamic world countries,
• To provide the cooperation and the share of good practice, experience and expertise accumulation amongst quality assurance agencies of Islamic world,
• To encourage cooperation with regional and international quality assurance agencies.

Turkish Higher Education Quality Council completed process for full membership to IQA on 9, February 2021.

Activities

Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Elmas attended the session titled ‘Faculty Experiences and Difficulties’ as a speaker at the second of the international webinar series organized by IQA on April 6, 2021.
