THEQC Welcomes the New Student Member of the Council

The Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC) has assigned a new member to serve as the student member of the Council.

Fatma Derya Arıkan, bachelor’s student at Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, Faculty of Education, Department of Elementary Mathematics Teaching, was assigned as a student member of the Council in line with the decision taken by THEQC.

Following the expiration of the term of office of the current student member of the Council, Arıkan was assigned as the new one for one year among the Students Commission members and also assumed the duty of the Chair of the THEQC Students Commission. Arıkan, who took over this important position after the end of the term of office of Erdoğan Taha Akbaş, a bachelor’s student at the Faculty of Pharmacy of Atatürk University, will work to contribute to student representation and quality assurance processes.
