THEQC Students Commission Carries Out the “Active Stakeholder of the Internal Quality Assurance System: Students” Workshop at Kocaeli University

The Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC) Students Commission carried out the 16th of the workshop series titled “Active Stakeholder of the Internal Quality Assurance System: Students” with students’ quality society members of Kocaeli University on 21 November 2023. Assoc. Prof. Gonca Uludağ, THEQC Academic Expert and Students Commission Academic Coordinator, attended the workshop as a trainer and Berivan Çiçek and Melike Gülay, THEQC Students Commission members as peer trainers.

In the workshop whose content was created by Assoc Prof. Gonca Uludağ, students shared their ideas about the quality assurance works of higher education institutions and the work of students’ quality societies.  At the event, it was stated that quality processes, defined as a tool used by students to convey their ideas to administrative and academic staff, are an indispensable part of higher education institutions.

The students presented the posters they created through group work on the topics given to them, to all participants. The workshop ended after students’ feedback about the event was received, participation certificates were presented, and a family photo was taken.
