THEQC Students Commission Holds a Seminar on “The Role of Higher Education Students in the Construction of a Quality Assurance Culture” at Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University

On 13 November 2023, the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC) Students Commission gave a seminar on “The Role of Higher Education Students in the Construction of a Quality Assurance Culture” to highlight the importance of student involvement in the quality assurance system in higher education, raise student awareness about it, and have students take part in quality work actively at Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University (MSKÜ).

Prof. Celal Ateş, MSKÜ Vice-Rector; Prof. Ali Bayrakdaroğlu, Rector Advisor; Lecturer Kemal Yüce Kutucuoğlu, Quality Commission Member; MSKÜ students, and academic and administrative personnel attended the 48th seminar, organised by the Commission, as listeners.

Asst. Prof. Gonca Uludağ, THEQC Expert and THEQC Students Commission Academic Coordinator, and Aslı Özmutlu, THEQC Students Commission member, attended the seminar, held with 200 participants, as speakers. The event ended with answering the participants’ questions, awarding certificates of appreciation to the speakers, and taking a commemorative photo.
