THEQC Students Commission Carries Out the “Active Stakeholder of the Internal Quality Assurance System: Students” Workshop at Koç University

The Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC) Students Commission carried out the 14th of the workshop series titled “Active Stakeholder of the Internal Quality Assurance System: Students”, which aims the internalization of the quality assurance processes in higher education by students, involvement of students in quality processes, and dissemination of the quality culture, was held with the members of Koç University Students’ KUality Society.

The workshop was carried out on 9 November 2023 with the attendance of 13 student participants, Assoc. Prof. Gonca Uludağ, THEQC Academic Expert and THEQC Students Commission Academic Coordinator who created the workshop’s content and participated in the process as a trainer, Erdoğan Taha Akbaş, THEQC Students Commission Chair, and Ahmet Kayhan Korkusuz, Commission Vice-Chair, who both took the role of peer trainer.

In the workshop, where students actively participated in the activities, students carried out group work in line with the instructions given to them. Posters created were presented to all participants by the group members.

The workshop ended after students’ feedback about the event was received, participation certificates were presented, and a family photo was taken.
