THEQC Students Commission Gives a Seminar on “The Role of Higher Education Students in the Construction of a Quality Assurance Culture” at Bursa Uludağ University

On 2 November 2023, the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC) Students Commission gave the 45th of the seminar series titled “The Role of Higher Education Students in the Construction of a Quality Assurance Culture” to highlight the importance of student involvement in quality assurance system in higher education, raise student awareness about it, and have students take part in quality work actively at Bursa Uludağ University.

Prof. Funda Coşkun, Bursa Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine Dean, moderated the seminar in which Assoc. Prof. Gonca Uludağ, THEQC Expert and Students Commission Coordinator, and Melike Gülay and Esra Köyönü, THEQC Students Commission members, gave speeches. Prof. Ferudun Yılmaz, Bursa Uludağ University Rector; Prof. İrfan Kırıştıoğlu, Vice-Rector; Yasemin Özdemir, Lecturer and Quality Coordinator; academic and administrative personnel, and students participated in the seminar as listeners.

The participants’ questions were answered and feedback was taken in the seminar held with 87 participants. The event came to an end after the presentation of certificates of appreciation to the speakers, and a commemorative photo was taken.
