THEQC Expert Makes a Presentation at an Event Themed ”Quality Assurance in Education & Research Collaborations” Hosted by Uşak University

Asst. Prof. Ayşegül Kozak Çakır, the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC) Academic Expert and International Relations Coordinator, participated as an invited speaker in the International Erasmus Staff Week event held between 29 May and 2 June 2023 with the theme of “Quality Assurance in Education & Research Collaborations” hosted by Uşak University.

The event schedule included various panels and excursions that took place with the participation of 60 representatives from 15 countries. Contributing to the event with her presentation titled “The Role of Quality Assurance in Higher Education and THEQC: Challenges and Developments”, Asst. Prof. Kozak Çakır talked about the developments and changes in higher education and their reflections on the field of quality assurance. In her presentation, Çakır also explained the works carried out by the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council in the field of quality assurance in higher education.

Quality assurance systems and practices in different countries and the developments and challenges in the field of quality assurance were discussed in the questions-and-answers session of the event.
