THEQC Students Commission Members Meet in Ankara

The Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC) Students Commission members came to Ankara for the first face-to-face meeting in 2023.

Prof. Muhsin Kar, THEQC President; Prof. Mustafa Çufalı, THEQC Vice-President, and Asst. Prof. Gonca Uludağ, the THEQC Academic Expert and the Academic Coordinator of the Students Commission, attended the meeting in which President Kar gave a speech about the importance of institutional accreditation in the Turkish higher education system and THEQC’s activities in 2023.

Assoc. Prof. Dilek Avşaroğlu Erkan and Assoc. Prof. Salih Bardakçı, THEQC Experts, informed the participants about the international works of THEQC and the evaluation programs and answered questions from the Commission members. Asst. Prof. Uludağ gave information about the activity plans of the Commission for 2023.

Ahmet Kayhan Korkusuz, Aslı Özmutlu, Berkay Tarım, Erdoğan Taha Akbaş, Evra Gürbüz, Ezgi Ayar, Mehmet Sezer Altun, and Yusuf Polat, the Commission members, attended the meeting in which the role of the Commission in the processes was emphasized.
