Students Gathered in a Stakeholder Meeting on “2021 Higher Education Evaluation and Quality Assurance Status Report”

“The 2021 Higher Education Evaluation and Quality Assurance Status Report,” written by the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC), was shared with student stakeholders in an online meeting on 26 December 2022.

The heads and deputy heads of the students’ quality societies of higher education institutions and 46 students from 38 institutions attended the meeting. Prof. Muhsin Kar, THEQC President, gave the opening speech of the meeting and made a presentation on quality assurance and accreditation in higher education. Asst. Prof. Gonca Uludağ, Academic Coordinator of the THEQC Students Commission, gave information about the student involvement dimension and related works in the 2021 Higher Education Evaluation and Quality Assurance Status Report.

Expectations from students’ quality societies and member students were expressed in the meeting, and President Kar mentioned the activities planned by the THEQC Students Commission and answered the questions from students. The meeting ended after the students took the feedback survey and a commemorative photo shoot.
