The “Quality Assurance and Student Involvement in Higher Education” Seminar Is Held at İzmir Katip Çelebi University

The 41st of the seminar series titled “Quality Assurance and Student Involvement in Higher Education” was held to raise awareness of students, one of the essential stakeholders of the quality assurance system in higher education, and ensure their active involvement in quality works, by the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC) Students Commission at İzmir Kâtip Çelebi University (İKÇU) on 13 December 2022.

Prof. Saffet Köse, İKÇU Rector; Asst. Prof. Gonca Uludağ, the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC) Academic Expert and THEQC Students Commission Academic Coordinator, and Aslı Özmutlu, THEQC Students Commission member, gave their speeches in the seminar moderated by Assoc. Prof. Funda İfakat Tengiz, İKÇU Quality Coordinator. Ege University Students’ Quality Society members were also among the audience of the seminar in which students and academic and administrative staff participated.

The questions of the audience were also answered in the seminar in which 127 participants took part. The event ended with the presentation of the certificates of appreciation to the speakers.
