Prof. Muhsin Kar, President of the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC), attended a conference on “Quality and Accreditation Processes in Higher Education” as a speaker at Hitit University.
The university’s governing body, academic and administrative staff, and students attended the conference held at the Ethem Erkoç Conference Hall of Hitit University Vocational Schools Campus on 1 December 2022.
President Kar made a presentation titled “Quality and Accreditation Processes in Higher Education” at the conference. President Kar gave detailed information on the concept of quality, stakeholders’ perspectives on quality, quality assurance in higher education, the objectives of quality assurance, quality assurance systems, and the THEQC processes followed in institutional evaluation, especially the Institutional Accreditation Program (IAP).
