Malaysian Qualifications Agency Pays a Working Visit to THEQC

ANKARA – Prof. Khairul Salleh Bin Mohamed Sahari, President of the Association of Quality Assurance Agencies of the Islamic World (IQA), and Prof. Mohammad Shatar Sabran, CEO of the Malaysian Qualifications Agency, paid a working visit to the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC).

Prof. Muhsin Kar, THEQC President, and Prof. Olgun Çiçek, IQA Vice President and THEQC International Adviser, accompanied the guests during their visit. Assoc. Prof. Dilek Avşaroğlu, THEQC Academic Expert, informed MQA representatives about the quality assurance system in Turkish higher education, accreditation processes, and THEQC’s activities. Prof. Khairul Salleh Bin Mohamed Sahari, who also works as CEO Assistant at MQA, made a presentation on the quality assurance system in Malaysian higher education and gave information about the quality assurance system of the Malaysian Qualifications Agency and its program accreditation and recognition processes.

The meeting continued with a mutual exchange of opinions, and evaluations on possible collaborations between THEQC and MQA were also discussed.
