Prof. Muhsin Kar, THEQC President, Gives a Speech on “Internationalization in Higher Education Institutions” at Başkent University

ANKARA – Prof. Muhsin Kar, President of the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC), attended the “Internationalization in Accreditation” panel as a speaker at Başkent University. President Kar contributed to the panel with a presentation on “Internationalization in Higher Education Institutions.”

Ronny Heintze, AQAS Director, also attended the panel organised by Başkent University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences on 5 July 2022 as a speaker. Prof. Haldun Müderrisoğlu, Başkent University’s Acting Rector, delivered the opening speech of the panel moderated by Prof. Füsun Eyidoğan, Vice-Rector. Prof. Güray Küçükkocaoğlu, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, also made a speech.

President Kar evaluated the concepts of quality and accreditation in the context of internationalization in a historical framework and gave detailed information on internationalization strategies of higher education institutions in the panel attended by the academic and administrative staff of the university.

Additionally, Ronny Heintze, AQAS Director, made a presentation on “Internationalization of External Quality Assurance,” and Prof. Güray Küçükkocaoğlu on “International Accreditation: AQAS Experience.”
