Bartın University Hosts the Seminar on Quality Assurance System in Higher Education and Student Involvement
THEQC Students Commission came together at the seminar hosted by Bartın University on March 22-23 to raise awareness about the quality assurance system in higher education and increase the involvement of students in the processes.
On the first day of the event, the twenty-ninth of the webinar series titled ”Quality Assurance System in Higher Education and Student Involvement” was conducted with around 300 participants face-to-face at Bartın University, Kutlubey Campus Conference Hall. The activity started with the opening speech by Prof. Orhan Uzun, the Rector of Bartın University, and continued with the speeches by Asst. Prof. Gonca Uludağ, the Academic Coordinator of THEQC Students Commission, and Sena Çatal, the Vice-Chair of THEQC Students Commission. A great number of students attended the seminar that ended with the questions and answers session.
On the second day of the event, the workshop titled ”What Does Students’ Quality Society Do? What Should It Do?” was carried out with Young Quality Society of the university at Bartın University, Faculty of Education, Classroom 203. Moderated by Asst. Prof. Gonca Uludağ and Sena Çatal, the workshop was conducted as an activity for which positive feedback was given and included interaction between the students who are members of the university’s quality society.
