Turkish Higher Education Quality Council Student Commission Membership 2021 Application Result

Our open application call for membership to the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council Student Commission, which was established to represent the students’ right to speak at the highest level in the field of quality works in higher education, between September 27 and October 08, 2021 attracted great interest from students, and 53 students applied for membership. In the member selection process, experiences and individual competencies regarding quality assurance in higher education, higher education institutions and diversity of fields, representation of education level, gender distribution and regional distribution balance were taken into account.

As a result of the evaluation made in this regard, commission membership applications of the following students have been accepted;

• Elif Çidam (Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University),
• Erdoğan Taha Akbaş (Ataturk University),
• Ömer Faruk Sönmez (İzmir Democracy University),
• Samet Ali Yurdakul (Istanbul Medipol University),
• Yusuf Polat’s (Necmettin Erbakan University).

We declare that new involvement opportunities will be offered by our Council every year with an open call for commission membership, and we thank our students for their interest.
