THEQC Student Commission becomes New Member of European Student Union (ESU)
Membership applications of the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC) Student Commission members Sena Çatal and Simge Ayyıldız to the European Student Union (ESU) Quality Assurance Student Expert Pool have been accepted for the 2021-2022 Academic Year.
The term of office of Muhammed Iyisan, who is a member of the THEQC Student Commission and was elected as a member of the 2020-2021 Academic Year ESU Quality Assurance Student Expert Pool, has been extended by ESU for 1 year. In addition, Ömer Faruk Sönmez, an undergraduate student who became an evaluator after participating in the Quality Ambassador Training Program (KEP-21), Quality Ambassador Workshop (KEÇ-21) and THEQC Evaluator Trainings organized by the THEQC Student Commission in 2021, has been accepted to the ESU Quality Assurance Student Expert Pool for the 2022 Academic Year.
What is ESU?
ESU is an umbrella organization formed by 45 National Unions of Students from 40 countries. The Student Expert Pools within ESU are platforms that allow students to learn about quality assurance in higher education, share their views and experiences, and they encourage active involvement of students in the quality assurance system. ESU represents around 20 million students in Europe through its members.
