THEQC approved as a member to International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE)

ANKARA – Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC) has been approved as a member of the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE). THEQC, which has become a member of ENQA, APQN, CHEA (CIQC) and INQAAHE over the past month, aims to contribute to the international recognition of the Turkish higher education system by expanding its network. 

Founded in 1991, INQAAHE is one of the longest-established umbrella organizations for the agencies operating in the field of quality assurance in higher education. The members of the organization are quality agencies that are active in the theory and practice of quality assurance in higher education. 

INQAAHE promotes good practice examples for internal and external quality assurance with the Guidelines for Good Practice (GGP) standard. In addition, Marjorie Peace Lenn Center, which offers graduate studies, research opportunities and courses in the field of quality studies, operates under the umbrella of INQAAHE.                                                                                          

As THEQC, we would like to thank our Council members, consultants, employees and stakeholders for their hard work and dedication throughout the process. We hope that this membership will bring new opportunities for the Turkish higher education system.
