President Kocabıçak Attends the Kayseri Education Symposium on “Which Education, What Kind of Future?”

Prof. Ümit Kocabıçak, President of the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC), attended the Kayseri Education Symposium on “Which Education, What Kind of Future?”, organised in cooperation with Erciyes University and the Grand Art Foundation. At the symposium held on 16 May 2026, the past, present, and future of education were discussed.

Prof. Cihad Demirli, Deputy Minister of National Education; Hulusi Akar, former Minister of National Defence and Kayseri Deputy; the Governor of Kayseri; deputies; rectors, and academics from various universities attended the symposium. Many issues, ranging from higher education to education policies, were addressed at the symposium.

President Kocabıçak made a presentation on “Globalisation and Quality in Education” at the symposium. Following the presentation, the event continued with a question-and-answer session.

The sessions ended with the presentation of plaques.
