The Journal of Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education (JAQAHE) Indexed by the Electronic Journals Library (EZB)

The Journal of Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education (JAQAHE), published by the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC), has been indexed by the Electronic Journals Library (EZB), an international electronic journal index based in Germany.

With JAQAHE’s inclusion in the EZB, it is aimed that the international visibility, accessibility, and scientific discoverability of the journal will be further strengthened. With this development, the journal is expected to make a significant contribution to scientific publishing activities conducted in the fields of quality assurance, accreditation, and educational evaluation in higher education.

Making evaluations regarding the issue, Prof. Ümit Kocabıçak, THEQC President, stated that JAQAHE’s inclusion in an internationally respected index is an important indicator of the journal’s academic quality and its development in the field of scientific publishing.

Stating that they attach importance to carrying THEQC’s knowledge in the field of quality assurance in higher education to international academic platforms, President Kocabıçak emphasised that the efforts for JAQAHE to be included in international indexes will continue resolutely and that these efforts will further increase the scientific impact of the journal.

The Electronic Journals Library (EZB) is an international electronic journal index operated by the Regensburg University Library in Germany and used by numerous universities and research libraries worldwide. The EZB is among the important reference sources aiming to increase the visibility and accessibility of scientific electronic journals.
