THEQC Delegation’s Attendance at the 2025 European Quality Assurance Forum

Prof. Ümit Kocabıçak, President of the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC), participated in the European Quality Assurance Forum (EQAF-2025) held in Budapest, Hungary, between November 12-14, 2025. This year, the Forum focused on how quality assurance in higher education can be sustained through agility and resilience in times of crisis.

EQAF, one of the most important annual platforms of the European Higher Education Area, aimed to bring together universities, quality assurance agencies, students, researchers and policy makers to discuss emerging trends and strengthen cooperation in quality assurance this year under the theme “QA in times of crises – Ensuring stability, autonomy and international cooperation in higher education”.

President Kocabıçak, together with Dr M. Ayşegül Kozak Çakır, THEQC Expert, led the workshop on “Quality Assurance Under Pressure: Designing Agile Systems for Uncertain Times”.

Eren Çanga and Nurefşan Acar, former members of THEQC Students Commission, also participated in the forum with a joint paper titled “Complex Dynamics of Student Integration into Quality Assurance: Innovative Insights from Senior Management in Turkish Higher Education”.
