THEQC Students Commission Meets with Quality Ambassadors of Bitlis Eren University

The Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC) Students Commission organised a seminar on “Quality Assurance System in Higher Education and Student Involvement”, hosted by Bitlis Eren University, with the participation of students from various universities within the scope of the Commission activities to increase students’ awareness of quality assurance processes and strengthen student involvement.

The academic and administrative staff, as well as students, participated in the online seminar on 3 November 2025. The event was moderated by Dr Berfin Göksoy, Academic Advisor of the Eren Students’ Quality and Qualification Club. Assoc. Prof. Songül Vargün, THEQC Expert and Academic Coordinator of the THEQC Students Commission, and İsmail Uzunel, THEQC Students Commission member, attended the seminar as speakers.

63 participants attended the seminar, where information was shared about the basic principles of the quality assurance system, the role of students in quality processes, and the work carried out by the THEQC Students Commission. The seminar ended with a question-and-answer session.
