THEQC’s Participation in “Quality 2025” Conference in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Prof. Ümit Kocabıçak, President of the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC), and Asst. Prof. Ayşegül Kozak Çakır, THEQC International Relations Coordinator, attended the “Quality 2025” conference held in Neum, Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The conference was co-organised by THEQC in cooperation with the Agency for the Development of Higher Education and Quality Assurance in Bosnia and Herzegovina (HEA) and the University of Zenica within the scope of the memorandum of understanding between THEQC and HEA.

President Kocabıçak gave the opening speech on the first day of the conference. On the last day of the conference, Asst. Prof. Ayşegül Kozak Çakır participated in the roundtable discussion on “Strengthening Quality Assurance Capacity in the Higher Education System” organised with the participation of Dr Franci Demšar,  HEA President and the President of the Slovenian Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (SQAA / NAKVIS).

During the productive conference, agreements were reached at the presidents’ level on increasing partnerships and inter-institutional cooperation in quality works in higher education among Balkan countries.
