Embassy of Japan in Ankara Visits THEQC

Satoshi Arai, Head of the Educational Policies Department, and Iwasa Takaaki, Envoy, representing the Embassy of Japan in Ankara paid a working visit to the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC).

Prof. Ümit Kocabıçak, THEQC President; Prof. Mustafa Çufalı, THEQC Vice-President, and THEQC experts hosted the delegation and attended the meeting at THEQC’s meeting hall. While the functioning of quality assurance systems in higher education in Türkiye and Japan was discussed at the meeting, possible collaborations between the two countries on quality assurance in higher education were also discussed. The meeting continued with the participants exchanging views.
