THEQC Attends the 7th Workshop on Updating EURYDICE, EURYPEDIA and the Structure of the Turkish Educational System Book

Various institutions were asked to update the Eurypedia (Online Encyclopedia of European Education Systems) database, which is a part of the European Commission’s Eurydice (European Education Information Network) platform, and the Structure of the Turkish Educational System (TES) book, organised by the Strategy Development Directorate of the Ministry of National Education. The workshop, to which representatives were invited, was held at Mersin Suphi Öner Teacher’s House between 30 October and 3 November 2023.

The workshop, in which representatives from the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC) also participated, started with the opening speeches. Then, the participants were informed about Eurydice, Eurypedia, TES and how to conduct group work.

Group works were carried out during the five-day workshop. Firstly, “11.2. Quality Assurance in Higher Education” subtitle was updated for the Eurypedia database. In addition, THEQC representatives contributed to the titles related to the activities of THEQC for updating TES.

The workshop ended with the group moderators making presentations about the updates and answering the questions from the participants.
