THEQC Students Commission Meeting on “Student Members of the 2023 THEQC Evaluation Teams Share Their Experience”

The meeting on “Student Members of the 2023 THEQC Evaluation Teams Share Their Experience”, which aims to provide experience and information sharing and feedback opportunities to students assigned to the Institutional External Evaluation, Follow-up, Institutional Accreditation, and Mid-term Evaluation Programs in 2023, was held online on 11 October 2023.

Assoc. Prof. Gonca Uludağ, THEQC Students Commission Coordinator, gave the opening speech of the meeting; afterwards, 12 student evaluators who completed a site visit within a THEQC evaluation program made presentations to share their experiences and gains. While student evaluators shared their experiences, they also shared the problems they encountered and their solution suggestions with other participants. At the meeting, student evaluators who will participate in evaluation programs for the first time were also present, and questions asked by the students were also answered.

Erdoğan Taha Akbaş, THEQC Students Commission Chair, gave information to the participants about how to fill out the 360-degree evaluation survey at the end of the evaluation process. The meeting lasted two hours, was attended by 33 student evaluators from different higher education institutions, and ended after a general evaluation was made and the participants answered the feedback survey.
