A Delegation of Turkmenistan Visits THEQC

ANKARA – Azat Ataev, Deputy Minister of Education of Turkmenistan; Mekan Ishanguliyev, Ambassador of Turkmenistan, and Merdan Nurmyradow, Attaché of Turkmenistan Embassy, visited the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC).

Prof. Mustafa Çufalı, THEQC Vice-President; Mehmet Yılmaz, Secretary General, and THEQC’s academic experts attended the meeting held in the THEQC Meeting Hall.

Azat Ataev, Deputy Minister of Education of Turkmenistan, gave information about the higher education system in Turkmenistan in the meeting.

Prof. Mustafa Çufalı, THEQC Vice-President, expressed his satisfaction with the visit and informed the guest delegation about the Turkish higher education quality assurance system.

Assoc. Prof. Dilek Avşaroğlu, the THEQC academic expert, gave detailed information about THEQC’s evaluation processes, structure, evaluation methodology, and international activities.

During the meeting, possible cooperation between the two countries in the field of higher education was also discussed.
