THEQC Delegation Visits the International University of Sarajevo

Prof. Mustafa Çufalı, Vice-President of the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC); Assoc. Prof. İbrahim Halil Kayral, THEQC Council Member, and THEQC Experts paid a working visit to the International University of Sarajevo in Sarajevo, the capital city of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During the visit that took place between 25-28 December 2022, the delegation had meetings with Prof. Ahmet Yıldırım, the Rector of the International University of Sarajevo, vice-rectors, the university’s governing body, and academic and administrative staff.

THEQC delegation presented the quality assurance system in Turkish higher education and received information about the structure of the International University of Sarajevo and the higher education system and quality assurance in higher education in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The meetings were structured mainly on THEQC’s quality assurance system, learning and teaching, research and development, service to society and internationalization evaluation criteria aiming to determine the evaluation approach to be applied to the quality assurance system of the International University of Sarajevo. During the visit, meetings were also held with the Student Parliament representative of the university and students from different departments and study cycles.
