The 12th Workshop on “Students in the Internal Quality Assurance System: Role and Contributions” Is Held at Sivas Cumhuriyet University
The 12th of the workshop series titled, “Students in the Internal Quality Assurance System: Role and Contributions,” aiming to involve students, one of the important stakeholders of the internal quality assurance system in higher education, in the quality processes, ensure their active involvement in the processes, and help students adopt the quality culture, was held at Sivas Cumhuriyet University on 16 December 2022 with the participation of undergraduate and graduate students who are members of the students’ quality society of the university.
Asst. Prof. Gonca Uludağ, the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC) Academic Expert and THEQC Students Commission Academic Coordinator, who created the workshop’s content and activities and participated in the process as a trainer; Erdoğan Taha Akbaş, THEQC Students Commission member, who participated in the process as a peer trainer, and 45 students attended the workshop that lasted six hours.
As a result of the feedback survey conducted after the workshop, in which the participants actively participated in the activities, it is observed that the students enjoyed the process, learned new things, and their knowledge of quality assurance increased.
