Prof. Muhsin Kar, THEQC President, Presents the Institutional Accreditation Certificate to Kırşehir Ahi Evran University at a Ceremony

The Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC) granted the Institutional Accreditation Certificate to Kırşehir Ahi Evran University at a ceremony within the scope of the 2021 Institutional Accreditation Program conducted by THEQC.

Prof. Muhsin Kar, THEQC President, gave a speech at the ceremony organised at Ahi Evran Congress and Cultural Center on 30 September 2022 and congratulated the university on its achievement in evaluation processes that resulted in the granting of the certificate.

Pointing out the importance of higher education institutions to implement the learning and teaching, research-development, service to society activities and administrative services in accordance with the stakeholder expectations and the institutional goals, Prof. Kar said that THEQC carries out the processes related to quality assurance in higher education institutions with an understanding that speaks to international quality assurance systems and takes into account national characteristics. Stating that higher education institutions have a great responsibility to make quality contributions to the development of Türkiye, President Kar said that universities should anticipate global, national and regional trends, manage changes, take into account stakeholder expectations, and ensure the graduate competencies and the continuity of all these, which could be achieved by establishing and executing a quality assurance system.

After his speech, President Kar presented the Institutional Accreditation Certificate to Prof. Vatan Karakaya, Rector of Kırşehir Ahi Evran University. The ceremony ended after a commemorative photo shoot.
