Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University Hosts the Seminar on Quality Assurance System in Higher Education and Student Involvement

The Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC) Students Commission continues to conduct seminars without slowing down. The twenty-eighth of the webinar series by THEQC Students Commission to raise awareness about the quality assurance works in higher education institutions and increase student involvement in these works was conducted face-to-face on March 17, 2022, at Hacı Bektaş Veli University, Vali Şinasi Kuş Cultural and Congress Center, Damat İbrahim Paşa Hall.

The event started with the opening speech by Prof. Semih Aktekin, the Rector of the university, and continued with a presentation by THEQC President Muhsin Kar. Asst. Prof. Gonca Uludağ, the Academic Coordinator of THEQC Students Commission, and Mehmet Bora, the Chair of THEQC Students Commission, also delivered their speeches at the seminar conducted with the great participation of around 730 students and moderated by Assoc. Prof. Yasin Polat, the Vice-Coordinator of the university’s Quality Commission.

The event ended with the questions and answers session with students.
