THEQC becomes a member of Association for Quality Assurance Agencies of Islamic World (IQA)

The full membership of Turkish Higher Education Quality Council was approved on 9 February 2021, after  the letter of intention has been evaluated in the general assembly of Association for Quality Assurance Agencies of Islamic World (IQA).

Association for Quality Assurance Agencies of Islamic World (IQA) is an umbrella organization embodying 25 full and 66 affiliate members in order to adopt a common quality tongue in higher education and to engage with the countries in Islamic world. Also, IQA aims at promoting and developing quality of higher education in Islamic world countries. For this purpose, it plans to carry out the following target:

• To increase the capacity of quality assurance agencies in higher education in Islamic world countries.
• To provide the cooperation and the share of good practice, experience and expertise accumulation amongst quality assurance agencies of Islamic world.
• To encourage cooperation with regional and international quality assurance agencies.

THEQC aims to increase its effectiveness on the way of being a quality assurance agency capable of communicating with the world while taking the conditions of our country into the consideration.
