THEQC’s Institutional Evaluation Processes for 2020
THEQC’s institutional evaluation processes, namely the Institutional Accreditation Program, the Institutional External Evaluation Program and the Monitoring Program, which were originally planned to be conducted in the spring semester of 2020 but postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, will be carried out in the fall semester of this year in view of the promising progress against the pandemic.
For the fall semester of 2020, 11 HEIs have been included in the Institutional Accreditation Program, 14 HEIs in the Institutional External Evaluation Program and 59 HEIs in the Monitoring Program.
The institutional evaluations of this year will be conducted with a blended evaluation approach that encompasses both face-to-face and virtual evaluation methods. The pre-visits of the evaluation teams as part of the Institutional Accreditation Program and the Institutional External Evaluation Program will be completely virtual, whilst a combination of virtual and face-to-face methods will be employed for the site visits within the two programs. Besides, all stages of the Monitoring Program is planned to be made through virtual evaluation methods.
We wish that the institutional evaluation processes of 2020 will be productive for all the HEIs and evaluation teams involved in the processes.
