THEQC becomes a member of APQN
Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC) has successfully completed its full membership application process to the Asia-Pacific Quality Network (APQN). Becoming a full member of APQN, which is an influential international quality assurance network, THEQC has taken another major step in accomplishing its strategic objective of increasing its recognition by improving its internationalization processes.
APQN was founded in 2003 with the objective of “Dissolving Boundaries for a Quality Region”. Within this objective, the organization conducts its activities in line with the mission of improving quality of higher education in the region that contains more than half of the world population through developing the practices of the quality assurance agencies based in the Asia-Pacific region and improving the cooperation between them. Having 222 members from 41 countries and territories, APQN has become the largest and the most influential international organization on higher education in the region since its establishment.
THEQC’s full membership to APQN means that our higher education quality assurance activities will be recognized in the Asia-Pacific region, consequently making the quality assurance activities of our national higher education institutions more visible in the region. As THEQC, we are pleased to announce our APQN membership to our stakeholders.
