THEQC Represented at the 2nd Forum of Rectors of Poland and Türkiye

Prof. Ramazan Bayındır, the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC) Vice President, attended the 2nd Forum of Rectors of Poland and Türkiye held in Gdańsk, Poland, on 8 May 2026.

The forum was organised in cooperation with the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the Council of Higher Education (CoHE), University of Gdańsk, CRASP, the Inter-University Council, NAWA, and FRSE.

Participating as a speaker in the panel titled “Realising Potentials and Opportunities in Turkish Universities for Polish Students and Academicians” organised within the scope of the forum, Prof. Bayındır made evaluations about THEQC’s studies in the field of quality assurance in higher education and the processes carried out for the development of quality culture in Türkiye.

In the panel, THEQC’s activities carried out in line with the ESG, the contribution of EQAR membership to international recognition, and quality-oriented transformation processes in higher education in Türkiye were discussed.

During the contacts held throughout the forum, evaluations were made regarding the development of academic collaborations between HEIs of Türkiye and Poland, increasing experience sharing in the field of quality assurance, and strengthening sustainable international partnerships.
