2026 Pre-Site Visit Training Organised within the Scope of the Mid-Term Evaluation Program

The 2026 Pre-Site Visit Training was organised by the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC) within the scope of the Mid-term Evaluation Program (MtEP).

The training, organised for the evaluators taking part in the 2026 MtEP, was held online on 6 May 2026.

During the training, which began with the opening speech by Prof. Ümit Kocabıçak, THEQC President; Prof. Ramazan Bayındır, THEQC Vice President, provided information on the MtEP and the current version of the THEQC External Evaluation Guidelines (Version 3.3).

During the training, the Council members delivered their presentations: Prof. Elif Çepni on Roadmap and Process Management for Evaluators, Prof. Hüseyin Ağır on Evaluation, Ethics, and Time, and Prof. Ali Bilgin on Site Visit and Post-Visit Period.

The THEQC presidential advisers also provided detailed information to the participants: Assoc. Prof. Resul Telli on the Report Writing Process and Consistency, Prof. Yunus Nadi Yüksek on a PDCA Mapping Study and Sample Criterion Evaluation, and Asst. Prof. Çiğdem Sazak Turgut on the MIS System and Report Uploading.

The day-long training concluded with a section where the evaluators’ questions were answered.
