THEQC Hosts an International Adviser

Ronny Heintze, International Adviser to the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC), visited THEQC to hold consultations regarding the Council’s activities on 4 May 2026.

During the meetings held as part of the visit, Mr Heintze met with Prof. Ümit Kocabıçak, THEQC President; Prof. Ramazan Bayındır, THEQC Vice President, and Dr Aysegül Kozak Çakır, International Relations Coordinator. In the consultation meeting, current developments at THEQC, ongoing activities, and the main challenges faced in the field of quality assurance in higher education were discussed.

Furthermore, during the meeting, while THEQC’s current activities and priorities were comprehensively evaluated, topics related to maintaining compliance with international quality assurance standards and strengthening institutional capacity were emphasised.

The consultations regularly conducted by THEQC with its international advisers provide a strategic contribution to its institutional development process. This visit has provided a concrete contribution to the work carried out by the Council by reinforcing mutual knowledge exchange.
