President Kocabıçak Presents the Institutional Accreditation Certificate to İbn Haldun University

Prof. Ümit Kocabıçak, President of the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC), presented the Institutional Accreditation Certificate to İbn Haldun University at a ceremony within the scope of the  Institutional Accreditation Program conducted by THEQC.

President Kocabıçak, who attended the ceremony held at the İbn Haldun University Başakşehir Campus on 27 July 2026, in this context, presented the Institutional Accreditation Certificate to Rector Prof. Atilla Arkan.

Making an evaluation on the importance of quality assurance and accreditation in higher education at the ceremony attended by academics and students, President Kocabıçak stated that along with the digitalisation process, new technologies, primarily artificial intelligence, are reshaping the understanding of quality assurance in higher education.

Drawing attention to the impact of technological developments on education systems, Kocabıçak stated that integrating artificial intelligence applications into educational processes consciously and in accordance with their purpose will both strengthen students’ learning experience and provide significant contributions to the quality of academic activities.

He added that THEQC is continuing its efforts in line with the mission of developing and expanding the quality culture in higher education in Türkiye.
