Prof. Ümit Kocabıçak, THEQC President, Attends the Ankara Music and Fine Arts University Conference

Prof. Ümit Kocabıçak, President of the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC), attends the Ankara Music and Fine Arts University Conference on “The Importance of Quality Assurance Systems and Accreditations in Higher Education.”
The academic and administrative staff of the university attended the conference held at the grand amphitheatre of the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts on 16 January 2025.
President Kocabıçak gave information about THEQC’s activities, the Institutional Accreditation Program, the Institutional External Evaluation Program, and evaluation criteria. Giving examples of quality assurance systems in higher education in the world, he presented the current situation and future perspectives in the field of quality assurance in Türkiye and drew attention to the importance of internalisation of quality assurance systems in higher education by universities.
Prof. Erhan Özden, Rector of the Ankara Music and Fine Arts University, presented a commemorative plaque to President Kocabıçak.
