Prof. Muhsin Kar, THEQC President, Attends the Symposium on Psychological Counsellor Education, Supervision, and Accreditation

ANKARA – Prof. Muhsin Kar, the President of the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC), attended the Symposium on Psychological Counsellor Education, Supervision, and Accreditation, which was organised with the collaboration of the Turkish Psychological Counselling and Guidance Association’s Assessment and Accreditation Unit for Psychological Counselling and Guidance Education Programs (PDR-EPDAB) and Necmettin Erbakan University.

Prof. Muhsin Kar delivered a speech at the opening ceremony of the Symposium held online on 13-14 May 2022 with the main theme “Standards in Psychological Counsellor Education.”

The sessions titled “PCG Practices at Schools from Different Point of Views: Standards, Needs, and Recommendations,” “National Standards for Psychological Counsellor Education,” “Psychological Counselling Practices with Groups and Related Standards in Psychological Counsellor Education and Accreditation Process,” and “Psychological Counselling Practices with Individuals and Supervision Standards in Psychological Counsellor Education and Accreditation Process” were conducted in the Symposium where national and international invited speakers attended.
