THEQC organizes online cooperation meeting with Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ARACIS)
ANKARA – On 17 November 2020, THEQC organized an online cooperation meeting with the Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ARACIS), in which both agencies shared their experiences in institutional external evaluation and accreditation processes. Moderated by THEQC International Relations Commission Chair Prof. Dr. Aslıhan Nasır, the meeting was attended by THEQC President Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Elmas, Vice President Prof. Dr. Sibel Aksu Yıldırım, THEQC Member Prof. Dr. Sina Ercan, THEQC Consultant Prof. Dr. Öktem Vardar and THEQC Academic Expert Assoc. Prof. Dilek Avşaroğlu. In addition, ARACIS International Relations Chair Prof. Dr. Radu Damian, who made a presentation on ARACIS during the meeting, and ARACIS Vice President Prof. Dr. Cristina Ghitulica attended the meeting on behalf of ARACIS.
The two agencies made presentations on their processes, which were followed by a Q&A session for sharing experiences. The quality assurance processes in Turkey and Romania that have been updated during the Covid-19 crisis were reviewed in the online meeting.
