THEQC organizes online meetings with HEIs included in the follow-up program of 2020 Institutional Evaluation Processes
THEQC organized a series of online meetings with the participation of the rectors, vice rectors, and the staff responsible for quality assurance procedures from 59 universities, which were included in the follow-up program between 20 June and 2 July 2020.
In the meetings’ opening speech, THEQC President Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Elmas emphasized that the quality process development of the universities evaluated within the scope of the Institutional External Evaluation Program in 2016 and 2017 will be evaluated through this year’s follow-up program and these evaluations will be carried out through a remote evaluation approach. THEQC Vice President Prof. Dr. Sibel Aksu Yıldırım presented technical information on the procedures and methods to be implemented in the follow-up program of 2020.
In the second part of the meetings, rectors shared their work on the institutions’ areas open to improvement and exchanged information on the adoption and development of the process as well as sample practices in quality assurance.
