THEQC Represented at the 2026 PNQAHE International Conference

Prof. Ramazan Bayındır, Vice President of the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC), represented THEQC at the 6th International Conference of the Pakistan Network of Quality Assurance in Higher Education (PNQAHE), held in Karachi, Pakistan, on 13-15 April 2026.

As part of the pre-conference workshops, Prof. Bayındır successfully conducted the workshop titled “Students & Stakeholder Engagement for Quality Assurance: A Bologna-HEC Aligned Model for Pakistan” together with Prof. Selva Staub.

Furthermore, taking part as a keynote speaker in the main sessions of the conference, Prof. Bayındır shared Türkiye’s higher education quality assurance system and THEQC’s ESG-compliant approach with international participants in his presentation on “Advancing Quality in Higher Education: An Introduction to THEQC”.

Contributing also to the panel session organised within the scope of the conference, Prof. Bayındır made evaluations regarding the strategic role of quality assurance in the internationalisation of higher education.

The conference, held under the theme “The strategic role of quality assurance in empowering global citizenship”, provided an important platform for developing international collaborations and sharing good practices.

THEQC’s representation at this event increased the international visibility of Türkiye’s experience in the field of quality assurance in higher education.
