A New International Academic Journal from THEQC: JAQAHE
The Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC) has launched an international peer-reviewed academic journal titled the Journal of Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education (JAQAHE) to support scientific studies in the field of quality assurance and accreditation in higher education.
Established in line with the decision taken by the Council in February 2026, JAQAHE aims to support academic studies and strengthen international knowledge sharing in the field of quality assurance and accreditation in higher education. The journal is intended to serve as an international scientific platform publishing high-quality academic works in areas such as quality assurance systems in higher education, institutional accreditation models, self- and external evaluation processes, quality policies, and institutional governance.
To be published as an open-access journal, it will focus on current topics including quality assurance policies, institutional evaluation and performance indicators, quality culture development, digital transformation, data-driven quality management, and AI-supported quality assurance practices.
Published entirely in English, JAQAHE will release two issues a year, in June and December. All articles will undergo a double-blind peer review process, and the journal’s publication processes will be conducted in accordance with international academic publishing principles.
The journal aims to become a significant platform for academic communication and knowledge sharing on an international scale for academics, policymakers, accreditation agencies, and higher education institutions working in the field of quality assurance in higher education.
