2025 Evaluation Processes and Feedback Meetings Held with Rectors and Evaluation Team Leaders

The Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC) organised meetings for the 2025 evaluation processes and feedback with the participation of HEI rectors and evaluation team leaders.

Prof. Ümit Kocabıçak, THEQC President, delivered the opening remarks at the online meetings held on 5 August 2025. President Kocabıçak stated that the meetings were important for receiving feedback and improving the quality of future evaluations.

Congratulating the universities that received accreditation, President Kocabıçak stated that quality assurance processes would strengthen the position of Turkish HEIs in world rankings, adding that these processes would contribute to a clearer understanding of areas for improvement and strengths, and to the implementation of measures accordingly.

At the meetings, where rectors shared their perspectives on the process, team leaders discussed the evaluation process. Sharing their experiences, the team leaders also addressed some challenges encountered during this process and suggested solutions.
