The new version introduces textual revisions as well as a number of methodological improvements to national evaluation programs. The highlights of the changes are as follows:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Institutions whose accreditation period is completed will be re-evaluated. With an arrangement, HEIs will be automatically re-evaluated at the end of their accreditation period.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; According to the new guide, draft evaluation reports will be pre-checked by THEQC regarding textual completeness, consistency between the text and the assigned maturity levels, clarity and language. The new guide also gives more detail on the mid-term evaluation process. Institutions holding full or conditional accreditation will be included in the Mid-term Evaluation Program in the second year following the accreditation decision. Institutions holding conditional accreditation will undergo an IAP-like evaluation and reporting process, while institutions holding full accreditation will be subject to an evaluation and reporting process that examines their progress in areas for improvement.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; The arrangement adds provisions that additional evidence and documents to be submitted to the evaluation team after the Final Meeting cannot be used within the scope of the evaluation and that the reports will be published in the Database of External Quality Assurance Results (DEQAR).<\/p>\n<p><strong>THEQC is to publish decision letters within the scope of the Institutional Accreditation Program<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In addition to the institutional accreditation reports published by THEQC within the scope of the Institutional Accreditation Program, with the new arrangement, decision letters will also be published on its official website and DEQAR. The decision letter, which was previously shared only with the senior management of the institution, will now be open to the public and all stakeholders.
