Information Meeting for Rectors and Team Leaders of HEIs to Be Evaluated in the 2024 IAP <\/h3><\/span><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Within the scope of the Institutional Accreditation Program (IAP) carried out by the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC), the information meetings organised for the rectors and evaluation team leaders of the HEIs included in the program were held online on 21 October 2024.<\/p>

The rectors and vice-rectors of HEIs and the evaluators acting as team leaders participated in the meetings held to share information before the site visits to be carried out within the scope of the IAP.<\/p>

Prof. \u00dcmit Kocab\u0131\u00e7ak, THEQC President, expressed his wishes for a successful evaluation process during his opening speech. President Kocab\u0131\u00e7ak informed the participants that THEQC would carry out the institutional accreditation processes of 35 HEIs, and provided information on topics such as creating a calendar for the pre-visit and site visit stages, preparation stages, what to do during the visits and the report writing stage.<\/p>

Dr Resul Telli and Res. Asst. Sena \u00c7atal, THEQC experts, gave detailed information to the evaluators about the duties and responsibilities of team leaders and the writing of institutional accreditation reports (IARs). The meeting ended with a questions-and-answers session and the expression of good wishes.<\/p>
